20,000 police officers from England and Wales are to march as they are restricted from striking to protest against cuts and privatisation.

I will be fully supporting the officers on the 10th May 2012

I think the coalition Govt should really listen to the police and deal with their concerns, this is not a good thing to be seen happening in the UK at all.

The Police cannot do their jobs undermined and possibly with a hand tied behind their back, this is one of the issues many backbench Conservatives are angry at David Cameron for and he would do well to start a listening exercise,yes yet again,now towards the concerns of the Police.

While the future stability and security of the UK is chipped away...what safeguards will be in place,how will they regulate Private security firms,Who will police the police?

The shift towards privatisation is a bit of a worry, not sure how we can trust a police organisation solely concerned with profit

So many police taking a day off at the same time to 'march' seems pretty much the same as a strike to me.
