I am interested in writing a book or an online article about Big Brother, its inception in 2000 and how it changed the way in which we watch TV with the introduction of viewer control and live feed where we could monitor the housemates we grew to either love or hate in series gone by.
What has: 1. Been your favourite series? 2. Least favourite? 3. Favourite housemate? 4. Stand out moment 5. Your hopes for Big Brother 13. 6. Who do you trust with BB, Channel 4 or 5? |

1 it has to be bb11

2. BB12 Probably 3. Too many. Freddie BB10/ Sunshine BB11/ Charley BB8/ Anton BB12 to name a few Also Tara CBB8/ K & K CBB9/ Stephen CBB7 4. Prison Task/ Mario Mole Task / Makosi unlucky housemate twist/ Everything the twins did 5. Good Mix of houseguests, NO TACKY AND TRASHY EDITING/ BEST BITS/ VOICEOVERS etc 6. I trust C5 to keep it running but prefer C4 BB by a mile

That it isn't full of supposedly sex mad 20-somethings - a few normal, older, people, and not all size 6 orange people. 6. Who do you trust with BB, Channel 4 or 5? Probably Channel 4, but they dumped it, so Channel 5.

That it is both dramatic and funny, Its gets lots of viewers and its turns out to be the best series ever. 6. Who do you trust with BB, Channel 4 or 5? Channel 5. Because although they are ruining the program they don't do it intentionally.

1. Been your favourite series?
BB6 (2005) - By far the best lineup of housemates. All, except maybe Eugene, had a major dynamic in the house and it was the most divisive series until maybe BB9 (although literally dividing the housemates there made it feel a bit contrived). It had huge, huge characters - Makosi, Craig, Kemal, Kinga, Science, Maxwell/Saskia (I count them as one because they were too unintelligent to be classed as separate cognitive entities) - and some of the best tasks. I liked the house layout too, with the separate living room and loft, and the secret garden. 2. Least favourite? BB11. - It was a good first 3 or 4 weeks, but it just became too interfered-with and eviction results became increasingly disastrous. The whole JJ/Josie story really bored me and I can't remember any of the tasks or most of the housemates (particularly the new ones). 3. Favourite housemate? Derek (BB6) - He was very manipulative and cunning, and it seemed to go largely unnoticed. Or rather, the housemates would discuss it and bitch about him, but then have larger fall-outs with each other and never nominate him. He had a brilliant way with words and his nominations were amazing to watch, and his whole house-mum thing (combined with Margaret Thatcher impressions and his hand gestures) made him hilarious. 4. Stand out moment The BB7 house next door twist. If you mention Big Brother to me for some reason the first thing I picture is that yellow & black eye and Aisleyne walking in crying after having to send home Jonathan. 5. Your hopes for Big Brother 13. Minimal. I'd hope they enter fewer tanned, fake, fame-hungry idiots and went for genuine oddballs and loud characters. Also, less outside intervention with the house. 6. Who do you trust with BB, Channel 4 or 5? I did like the first C5 CBB, but I grew impatient with BB12 and the last CBB was awful, so C4.
