should soaps change there schedule for football ? 03.03.13

this poem is about tv,
i wish i was a novice,
but its not being sent to those in control,
tough luck at ITV duty office.
i have complained before,
i am proud and i will stand tall,
because it kills me when i miss my soaps,
for the sake of football.
we do have it this week,
Tuesday is the game,
but the fact emmerdale is on,
tells me ITV are bowing to shame.
then on Wednesday,
its a normal routine,
both emmerdale and corri are on,
this gives me the light that's green.
i think you are listening,
maybe this poem will do harm,
please please please leave corri on wednesdays,
and every week night don't touch the farm.
thank you ITV,
i hope you see my hint,
leave the soaps in there spots,
and i will be feeling lush and mint.

(i would send my poem to itv but i think they can no longer understand what i am saying in my poems and are on BREAKDOWN. there for please feel free to forward my poem to itv if you are as unhappy about the soap timetable keep changing due to football.ps i say in my poem "this week" i am referring to the week commencing monday 04 march 2013.)

Not unless Football becomes a regular thing on ITV but it's only on about once or twice a month nowadays

If they want to show the match live then they have little choice if it is being played on a particular day and time that the soaps would be on.

I don't find it annoying, there are so many ways of catching up on soaps now near all the time.
It must I admit, be infuriating for people who have very lttle or no interest in football though.

there are 100s of channels put the football on one of them and leave the soaps where they are!

Time to move Monday Night Football to ITV or BBC I think and cancel the soaps on that day

That's what they do with 99% games, but it's good for ITV to still be able to show the odd big game every once in a while on terrestrial television, not the end of the world if a few times a year Corrie and Emmerdale are switched to different days

It brings in the money, so I guess that channels like ITV have no choice but to alter their schedules for it.

unless its a england game they should leave them alone. sick of football over taking normal tv for games no one cares about unless your a fan of that team.

england yeah fair enough we are all english but the other games who gives a flying duck lol

I'd probably rather see a game like the Milan-Barca one last week than most England games tbh
