This morning it has been confirmed that Emma Willis will replace Brian Dowling as host of Big Brother. A representative from The Guardian newspaper tweeted saying that Channel 5 have confirmed the news, which Jamie East has retweeted!!!

I suspect he would have been offered BOTS, but I also suspect he said no. If you were Brian, would you really want to be working with someone who is taking your job, the biggest job in fact?! I would imagine Brian will be given more slots on this morning (ITV), he does that usually in the summer. I doubt we will ever see Brian again on Channel 5, he probably hates the management right now

If you work in television you have to have a pretty thick skin. Brian will get up, dust himself off and be on to the next project. I don't know the ins and out of it, but maybe he was at the end of his contract?

I don't think he was, I'd love if he got(or would take) the BOTS job, I think he'd be so good at that

Ahhh right. It's a shame. I think he ended up being okay after a very shakey start. And yes, I'd love to see him on BOTS too, he's far more suited to that.

Yeah, it's a pity they didn't do it this way originally, I think it would be hard for him to take the BOTS job now after being fired for Emma, although I think he'd be crazy at the same time not to take it, it's still a good gig for him

I am not a Brian fan, he is far too up himself for my liking, and he isn't great at the job, however, the way it reads is like they have used and then just dropped him, and I feel a bit sorry for him in that respect. I hope he gets something better, so he can say ******* to them.

I don't feel for Brian at all i work in customer service and recieve a complaint It would be brought to my attention - what's different about this case ? If your no good at your job you get sacked! Harsh but true

Ah yes, I used to love those. I can't remember a specific one, but they were always related to the housemates behaviour in the house or a task that had happened furing the week.
