Ok so the stage is still there. They haven't pushed it back due to the fence and cars, cant see stands but s the space is still so small I think without them the crowd would look even smaller.

Im also assuming those are the screens still attached to the house seeing as the house it white underneath.

Cant really see much else but I was hoping that stage would have gone or atleast been changed to look like a studio.

I really just want a total revamp so it looks nothing like previous series. Its become stale and with a new presenter and new house they should also do the same outside.

So what we can figure out from this picture:

• The lighting tower next to the stage is still intact
• The stage remains
• The compound is still fenced off from the rest of Elstree Studios
• They are building something to the right of the picture?

Nothing's changed at all apart from the fact they re-enforced the walls ages ago which why it's now black.

But the led screens are black when they arnt in use im sure that's what it is.

If the screens arnt even in place on the front of the house how do you explain the black panels?

The house is white.

The screens are taken down after the show. They aren't screens the house is now black.

Look how much space the stage takes up.

I know they have lost a lot of the outside space but Look at the difference in size because of the new set up.

I know its a smaller space but the fact they cram all these stands, stage and having a raised walkway makes it look even smaller..

That stage needs to go. I would actually like to see the return of the cars, they could drive up past the George Lucas stage and a big gate put in to the BB compound where they exit the cars and enter the baying crowd and ground level walkway to the house.

Then have a more compact studio instead of the stage.

The Stage is part of the contracted things they asked to keep so it can't go. They can't return the cars because the entire place is fenced off now and Elstree wouldn't really let them do that any more.

As for the audience, without the stands, you'd actually get a smaller audience than with the stands. Technically a ground level entrance isn't possible. BB5 was raised a little.


They could actually move the staging back a little and get rid of that maze of a ramp to get off the stage and replace it with steps or a shorter ramp, then moving the stage back would give a bit of extra room for an audience...

Hence the reason I mentioned to install a large gate, I think it would be epic.

The ground space isn't actually that different its just taken up with all over the top fixtures and fittings.

Why do they have to keep that massive stage?

It was part of their planning permissions unfortunately, So they'll keep it. Yeah the ground space is almost the same, the stands do take up a lot of space however they do actually increase the audience capacity as much as we despise them.

When I say ground level entrance to the house I mean the walkway the housemates walk through the crowd towards the stairs.

Having everything so high up makes it look small I think without the stands it would pretty much look the same as previous years seeing as it has quite the same floor space.
