And I didn't really like it most of the time when asked out, I remember this one time when I was in 4th year at high school we were in assembly this guy walked in to the hall with a big massive teddy and walked right over and gave it to me infront of everyone and asked me out, I wanted to die and told him no.

..I think when I was younger, it had started to change that it was the male who was usually the one to 'ask' and I know lots of females who would ask a guy to go out..(is that the expression lol..), which is how it should be, either one to if they feel an attraction...mind you it was still a bit 'the norm' for the male to ask the female and I always thought that if I had been male I would have probably been single my whole life because that must be such a scary thing to do and I couldn't have done it myself.. I know I am so lucky that I met my life love at such a young age because I found 'being asked' just as scary and embarrassing..also the thought of what would come after the being asked if I said yes... of having to make conversation and talk to someone, especially of the opposite sex who I had no idea what to talk about with....

..I actually cried one time when someone at school asked me out..how humiliating for him.....


..EDIT:..oh I should have said that was when I was at primary school and very young..later I just avoided boys completely if I could...
