Default the appearing offline thing
this is really annoying

people only do it to fool people into thinking they have some form of life and its especially annoying when mods do it because what if you have an important query or need to report something when mods appear offline

Use the appeals forum if you have something "urgent" you need to ask a question about.

I won't be changing to appearing online just to keep a handful of members happy, we are entitled to privacy too.

Theres lots of reasons members prefer to appear offline.

I personally do it because a lot of the time i'm working and browsing the forum at the same time, I don't want anyone to see me online and send a message only to think I'm being ignorant and ignoring them when I'm not even at my desk.

But it says on whose online "last activity" so people can see if you're on the forum or not



It's annoying if mods appear offline, if a thread goes way offtopic and there's no specific post to report, how are you meant to get them to close it, you don't know whose online to pm
