For ages now Linda has been riding Jim hard. He has bitten his tongue about why she hates him. I think he has had enough and people need to know why she hates him. He let it out so her hatred now makes sense. Jim was instrumental in getting her hubby arrested and fined for theft and Jim wanted everyone to know why just in case people think it was anything to do with violence or sexism etc etc.

I guess you can see it from Jims point of view if he thought she was getting people to hate him pretending it was to do with acts that Jim has left in the past. Now its out maybe people will not need to pontificate about why she is so mean to him and he can address her anger on a different level..
