Despite being up against some of the biggest characters in this year’s Celebrity Big Brother, Liz Jones has continued to gain enough public support to stay in.

Many viewers have been left perplexed, wondering who on earth is voting for a housemate who seemingly brings so little to the house.

Oh how wrong they are...

Liz Jones stands up for what she believes in, no matter who she may be up against

A keen animal lover, Liz was left flabbergasted at Evander Holyfield’s revelation that he once punched a pregnant horse in the jaw because it ‘embarrassed him’ when it threw him off.
Most people would at least think twice before confronting a former heavyweight champion of the world. Liz Jones, is not most people:

Liz Jones is a maverick when it comes to her reasons for nominating

Housemates are told when it comes to nominations that they must provide valid reasons for why they are nominating a particular person.

To Liz, these are valid reasons:

“I’m nominating Evander because he doesn’t believe animals have souls”

“I’m nominating Luisa because I think if we were at school together she would bully me”

“My first nomination is Linda because she looks like my older sister.”

“My second nomination is Jasmine. I look at her and I literally want to kill myself because she’s just so beautiful.”

Liz Jones is the voice of the voting public

Like her or not, so far Liz has been on the money with her nominations. In week one she nominated Evander and in week two Jasmine - both of whom no longer reside in the house. It would seem that the public’s perception of this year’s celebrities are match up with good ole Liz's.

Liz Jones once attempted to flirt with house lothario Lee Ryan

Forget the Casey/Jasmine/Lee love triangle, if Liz had got her way we could have had a love square on our hands.

When making sausages for the housemates, Lee asked Liz if she wanted a banger to which she replied: “That’s the best offer I’ve had all morning.”

Alas Lee didn’t hear Liz’s attempts at courting and the romance was never meant to be.

Liz Jones throws herself into the weekly tasks

We didn’t think so.

Just because Liz isn’t cavorting in the bath with her fellow housemates, getting into blazing rows or boasting about getting an A+ in English doesn’t mean she isn’t a worthy winner.
So vote for Liz. She may not say much, but when she does - Liz Jones has CBB 2014 winner written all over her.
