I've been thinking this for a couple of weeks now, but it seems as though casting really did a horrendous job this year with the males they casted. Either they're delusionally bitchy, or just lack any sort of personality whatsoever. I usually support the male housemates but I couldn't support one even if I tried ridiculously hard to, this year.

As Toya would say Ma-who? Although really that applies to every male housemate in there. Who are these imbeciles

Agree, I think it is pretty badly casted. Apart from Chris and Mark and Matthew. The girls have been casted we'll, although I wanted a fee more normal ones like Jale.

At least some of the males try and have some laughs and fun.

I feel like Mark, Matthew, Ash and Marlon bitch a heck of a lot. And Steven, Chris, Christopher and Winston just lack personality. And really we've seen very little fun from any of them, in my opinion

All things point towards this being C5s best male casting, It's got to the point where the males are doing so well even BB have to intervene to get rid of them. Theres no stand out yet that will be remembered like Lord Aaron, Mark is the closest but for different reasons. But every male has played a part and a role in the series so far. Whether they are likeable or not they've all produced so far.

Or perhaps because they've produced so little, producers are becoming a little desperate to lose at least one of them?

Thats not the reason at all.. These dipsy females go all out and make a fool out of themselves which causes the public to hate them whilst the males are still creating talking points but playing the game well.. at this rate every female will be gone with every male left standing.

I agree, the males bar Mark are SO dull, all of BOTS mention it everyday, the public agree with you. If you compare it too last year where we had Dexter & Callum, or BB12 when we had Aaron, Harry, Mark, Anton, Jay etc. The males lack personality this year

Chris was the highlight of the week whilst he was in power
Ash, Marlon and Winston have been all the forum can talk about for 2 weeks
Christopher was involved in a lot of the so called bullying at the start of the series
Mark has been the star of almost every highlight show
Matthew has played the game really well and is getting a lot of air time at the moment
Steven has created discussions on here every day because of how creepy and terrible he is, He reminds me a bit of Callum actually.

I am really shocked that people can't admit anything good about a housemate at all just because they dislike them, theres a few housemates I strongly disliked but can still find them interesting in some way, laugh at some things they say etc.

Yes, the forum has been stacked with threads about Ash, Marlon and Winston. I'd say Jale (female) was far more involved in bullying things than Christopher. Mark has been incredibly fake but I suppose that can be some people's highlight of a show. And please don't compare Steven to Callum (I mean of course you're entitled to) but Callum had so much depth and character whereas all Steven is, is some recruited idiot who thinks it's good to create a showmance, as it'll "get the viewers excited".

Yeah, Matthew has been decent, i'll give you that. But still 1/8 of the male cast, is pretty shameful really.

Yes, the parts in bold were mildly entertaining. But the first really only because of Toya and her rant at Winston. I think that's very quick to judge saying that "people can't admit anything good about a housemate just because they dislike them". I hated Dexter, Charlie and Jackie but I could definitely appreciate them as good housemates. Definitely couldn't say the same about this lot though. Where is the depth!

BB14 had a pretty strong male casting with Jack and Joe, Dan, Devious Dexter, and Cowboy Callum. The only weak one was Sam and he was the winner.

If you compare it with Helen/Pauline/Toya/Ashleigh/Danielle /Jale etc, there is FAR less talking points, the males suck this year, BB12 had far superior males & the loss of Tashie/Maisy at the beginning barely affected the talking points as the girls sucked that season & the drama stemmed from the guys

If you've been viewing most threads throughout the past week or two you'll have realized the rivalry between Toya & Ash, Winston and Marlon has carried into most threads, even threads that had nothing to do with those housemates, not necessarily threads created for them. They have been the most talked about all week. Yeah Jale was more involved but i wasn't comparing Christopher to her, I was just giving my example of how hes been involved. A lot of it to me sounds like you don't like any of them at all that shouldn't take away the fact they've all supplied their bits to the show. Pauline and Toya were bloody awful, but they still created talking points.
