Chris was the highlight of the week whilst he was in power
Ash, Marlon and Winston have been all the forum can talk about for 2 weeks
Christopher was involved in a lot of the so called bullying at the start of the series
Mark has been the star of almost every highlight show
Matthew has played the game really well and is getting a lot of air time at the moment
Steven has created discussions on here every day because of how creepy and terrible he is, He reminds me a bit of Callum actually.

3 Females down with all the males still standing, its great to see.

Yes, the forum has been stacked with threads about Ash, Marlon and Winston. I'd say Jale (female) was far more involved in bullying things than Christopher. Mark has been incredibly fake but I suppose that can be some people's highlight of a show. And please don't compare Steven to Callum (I mean of course you're entitled to) but Callum had so much depth and character whereas all Steven is, is some recruited idiot who thinks it's good to create a showmance, as it'll "get the viewers excited".

Yeah, Matthew has been decent, i'll give you that. But still 1/8 of the male cast, is pretty shameful really.

If you've been viewing most threads throughout the past week or two you'll have realized the rivalry between Toya & Ash, Winston and Marlon has carried into most threads, even threads that had nothing to do with those housemates, not necessarily threads created for them. They have been the most talked about all week. Yeah Jale was more involved but i wasn't comparing Christopher to her, I was just giving my example of how hes been involved. A lot of it to me sounds like you don't like any of them at all that shouldn't take away the fact they've all supplied their bits to the show. Pauline and Toya were bloody awful, but they still created talking points.

That's only because Ash fans (and Toya fans, must admit) wouldn't/won't stop talking about them 24/7 to even consider that there are other HMs in there.

I'm actually happy my favourite's gone now, just because I can watch the show from a non-biased point of view and kind of start over again with my choosing faves and stuff.

Then if you accept the talking points argument and are even listing talking points the male housemates have provided to justify their position and role in the show, why would you or did you want to get rid of people like Pauline and Toya who as you've just agreed created talking points as well? Surely by that logic we should get rid of all of the males you listed too?

I agree that the male cast isn't that bad and people like Ash, Mark, Christopher, Steven, Matthew and Chris (although he's a bit tenuous cause he had to be given a role through the Power Housemate twist) have provided things, but either you support keeping those who create the talking points in the show or not it can't be one rule for one gender and another for another

This thread isn't about our favourites Jack, I've listed that Steven creates talking points, but i want to see him gone. I'm different to you, I don't want housemates in the house i dislike just because they create discussions. I'm replying to this thread that the males aren't as bad as they've been made out to be. You've just made an assumption from my post.

Well that's fair enough but I've not made any assumptions...you were the first person in this thread to bring up the fact that some of the male housemates are 'providing' and creating talking points as a way of arguing that the male cast isn't that bad, so if you don't agree with the talking points argument as means of justifying a housemate's worth why did you bring it up? That's the bit I don't get

Whether they are likeable or not they've all produced so far.

Thats because the males are providing, my points were added to the whole discussion and theme of this thread. You've switched this around & taken this way out of context and you're confusing me now. I couldn't care less if the likes of Steven and Matthew were evicted tomorrow, i'm not justifying their stay because i don't really like them, my posts were describing that the males aren't as boring & as bad as the OP made out. This doesn't mean to say i like them all, its just a fact. The same way i'd bring up Pauline, Toya, Helen and Jale if this thread was aimed at females being boring/bad this year, i dont like any of those 4 and it wouldn't bother me if they were evicted, but they bring discussion to the rest of the forum.
