In the past the show was all about tasks, mindgames and the odd spat between contestants, nowadays the show has moved towards showmances, vile sexual acts, constant cotrovosy and nastiness of the highest order.

Its no secret that viewers in the main have drifted away due to the depravity the show depicts and many think a return to the old shows ethos would be a way to get the show back in the mainstream, so the question begs....which way are they going this year.

Looking at the proposed line up, the showmance angle seems to be up there and they are obviously hoping for controvosy angle as well. Heres hoping they have employed a task team with more than 4 'O' levels between them this time and that annoying skinny little hyped up girly gimp has been canned. I don't know her name but boy was she annoying.

A move towards the old BB format would be a wise move and anyone saying they wanted to leave, should be automatically shown the door and their fee retained as part of their punishment.

Couldn't agree more tbh, as far as I can see the majority of fans would love a back to basics type format but they don't seem to be listening, seems like they like to be more in control then to let things happen a bit more naturally

Oh and also who do they think watches the show to see a sleazy, fake fumble under the covers? If that's all people wanted from the show there's surely other things they could watch to be more............satisfied lol

I honestly think its the megalomaniac mantra that the shows producers imply, that is ruining the show. They seem to want to control every angle right down to who should stay and who should go. They want the controversial and vile contestants to stay so they introduce the VTS vote. Personally I think they should leave it as VTE and let the viewers decide who they want and all these Immunity tasks should be dropped. I wonder what it would be like if noms were dropped and a VTE for everyone left for us to decide was implemented, at least for the first 5 evictions anyway.

Well after the questionnaire they gave the fans asking what we want to see from the show im hoping they will have listened to the fans.

They obviously saw they made mistakes after BB15 hence the questionnaire.

New BB, of course. Endemol will now see the (still arguably great) CBB13 as the blueprint for a great series and try and force showmances, triangles, lewd behaviour rather than just letting it happen on its own.

I really hope one day they strip it back - smaller, more confined house, absolutely 0 contact with the outside world, challenging tasks. Because you can get a great series out of just that. BB4 was a blip that they've been running scared from for over a decade.

Definitely. Much more interesting to see real people, however zany/OTT, interacting with other real people from different backgrounds than a stretched out personality extracted from a ridiculous Daily Mail article that trended on Twitter for a day.
