Default if jack was attractive
would he be as popular as he is now?

i really don't think he would

i think people like him because he is ugly in a sort of 'aww he deserves this' kind of way

his 'cheeky chappy' personality is nothing special and we have seen it on the show many times before

...hmmm, I don't know Rose, it's hard to tell on launch night because quite often the housemates can seem be a bit OTT with nerves etc and he wasn't so much so maybe that's the reason..?..
