...hmmm, I don't know Rose, it's hard to tell on launch night because quite often the housemates can seem be a bit OTT with nerves etc and he wasn't so much so maybe that's the reason..?..

He's pointing out the popularity of someone based on a lack of looks is just as unfair as someone's popularity based on someone's good looks.

Nowhere did he suggest that good looking housemates are all popular for other reasons chick.
