I don't think so, they actually heard it played on an Irish Radio Station this morning so I presume they would have checked it was legit first

I know the guy who fake-quit though, he was a contestant on the Australian BB years ago (I haven't seen his series but he became a host of the Friday Night Games shows they used to do after his series).
