Exactly Paul. They have a bewildering propensity for ignoring irrefutable facts as to why remaining in the EU is fiscally and constitutionally imbecilic, and pile lie upon lie as to why we should not exit because there ARE no valid and TRUE reasons to remain in.

Well, let me see; seeing as how the Lead header on the front page of The Financial Times states: 'Toyota Will Stay Even If Britain votes To Leave The EU' - then I do think it must have something to do with it. Don't you?

One of the few voices swimming against the tidal wave of businesses who very strongly believe we are better off in the EU

I'm agreeing, of course they'll stay they're a Chinese company...The Conservatives are loving the Chinese right now.

Toyota are a JAPANESE company by the way NOT Chinese, but you asked what they had to do with the EU.

Before World War II, Toyota built plants in Tianjin and Shanghai and conducted local assembly in China. From the early 1970s, after China's return to the United Nations was formally decided, Toyota transferred technology, worked to develop the auto parts industry and actively trained personnel in order to contribute to the development of the Chinese automobile industry.

Not any more.

GAC Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. (Chinese: 广汽丰田汽车有限公司) is an automobile manufacturing company headquartered in Guangzhou, China and a joint-venture between GAC Group and Toyota Motor Company. It was founded on 1 September 2004.

As of 2009, the company had a 320,001 units-per-year production capacity at a Nansha District production base and had established a target production capacity of 500,000,[1] which by now may have been achieved. Such figures may consider engines and whole vehicles discrete.

So that's a different company, having a big operation in China =/= being a Chinese company. Toyota are a massive international business with operations in numerous countries around the globe, of course our future with the EU is relevant to them and vice versa

Robots being tested
are to be shared with Military and Commercial Sectors
some are being kept out of Public Eye.

Toyota and Honda have a Division in that.
