... ... ... ... Why would Trump want to deliberately cultivate the worst possible relationship with the EU, a massive trading partner? Hmmmmm. Oh wait, it's because he doesn't think America does / should have to trade with anyone and has a dream of achieving complete self-sufficiency.

So will Farage's job essentially involve his sitting in at the EU repeating the line "lol Trump sayz **** off"?

Nigel Farage was on the Sean Hannity show and I believe he confirmed this. I heard just the end of the interview but he mentioned how he had worked for American companies before and he viewed the USA as cousins. I hope the interview surfaces on youtube soon because it sounded really interesting.

If it is true I think it's brilliant (and hilarious). One thing is clear by now: Trump is a badass!
