She recently had another embarrassing interview on Sky News and now is backing out of events saying she's ill.
Sky were speculating that Labour have been trying to keep her off the airwaves before the election. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.t...ks-terror/amp/ Honestly if she was'nt going to get the position i would be much more confident about my Labour vote. Could it be a possibility? |

'VERBAL DIARRHOEA Diane Abbott pulls out of BBC election debate at the last minute after being ‘taken ill’ following disastrous interview on terror after London Bridge attack
Radio 4 confirm Shadow Home Secretary will not appear on Women’s Hour this morning with Labour replacing her with Emily Thornberry But Ms Abbott’s no-show comes off the back of her toe-curling experience opposite presenter Dermot Murnaghan last night.' 'She was left red-faced when she failed to answer a single question on a series of recommendations to keep the capital safer from terrorists 48 hours on from the London bridge attack.' |

There's never assured positions, it may be a reshuffle would be done by Corbyn.
There is speculation Mrs May will be doing one, possibly even moving the Chancellor too who has been markedly absent near all through this campaign. I doubt Abbott would be Home Secretary actually,I'm not that sure she even would mind not being so. In light of the terrorist attacks,Corbyn and other Parties are re assessing plans. It's like all Parties saying no deals if there's a hung parliament. There'd have to be to govern. However elections throw up odd situations, I think it more likely than not that Abbott would not be Home Secretary. |

She never seems that prepared for interview and when it's with the more hostile to Labour stations really she does need to be particularly on the ball. Leave it to Thornberry, Gardener and Sarah Champion, she was amazing here.. http://voxpoliticalonline.com/2017/0...nt-in-waiting/

Would she do better than the home secretary we have now?... Who could do worse might be a better question
![]() Better to trip up than outright lie.

Oh dear.
![]() The woman is a ruddy joke. The more interviews she does the better. Thought they had grounded her since her dropping Corbyn in it on his IRA dealings. ![]() |

Yes let's get some perspective, corbyn attended a march in 1984 where some IRA members might have been present .... and may directly funding terrorism now (allegedly)?

Theresa May, as the Prime Minister, has dealings with the Saudis, they are our allies, helping us to reduce the amount of terrorist attacks in this country with their intelligence.
On the other hand, Jeremy Corbyn fraternised with and supported the enemy, the same enemy that was blowing up innocent men, women and children not only in Northern Ireland but in the cities of England. We are not at war with Saudi, the IRA were at war with us. Quite a difference in circumstances. |

'Saudi Arabia is also the regime that threatened the UK with “another 7/7” and the loss of “British lives on British streets” in 2006, according to court documents. Prince Bandar, the head of the Saudi national security council at the time, allegedly threatened to withhold intelligence if UK investigators didn’t drop a corruption investigation into the regime’s arms deals.' Meanwhile, the Tories are delaying the release of the findings of an inquiry into the foreign funding of extremists. The government said it would release the findings in 2016. But now, Theresa May’s government says it won’t make it public until after the election. And a Home Office spokesperson admitted that officials may never publish it due to its “very sensitive” contents.' 'People suspect that the report focuses on Saudi Arabia. Mainly because the state ideology of the kingdom – Wahhabism – is the same one that inspires groups like Daesh (Isis/Isil). And the country has spent approximately $100bn spreading this ideology around the world. At the same time, members of the country’s elite have long supported extremist groups.' https://www.thecanary.co/2017/06/05/...uk-another-77/

It would be a wise move if they got rid of her.
If Hillary Benn was leader, I'd maybe vote labour. I just don't trust the people they have in the shadow cabinet. I don't trust May and her cabinet either, but she's more middle ground, than partisan on one side. |
