Isn't it a public vote?

If the public voted her out, then the public ain't watching the show for her.

Brian makes no sense, and sounds like he's just kissing her arse in case she bullies him.

It does make sense though, people watch people they love to hate and rant about, like BB, you can't wait till the bad guys get the boot but then it gets a bit boring
