|
In the open world video game Free City, an amalgamation of Grand Theft Auto and Fortnite, Guy (Reynolds) is a non-player character (NPC), working as a bank teller. Thanks to a code developed by programmers Milly (Comer) and Keys (Keery) inserted into Free City by the publisher Antoine (Waititi), Guy becomes aware of his world being a video game, and takes steps to make himself the hero, creating a race against time to save the game before the developers can shut it down
The film is scheduled to be released on July 3, 2020 Cast Ryan Reynolds as Guy Jodie Comer as Milly / Molotov Girl Joe Keery as Keys Lil Rel Howery as Buddy Utkarsh Ambudkar as Mouser Taika Waititi as Antoine Camille Kostek as Beauty Channing Tatum (TBA) Additionally, YouTube personalities including Seán "Jacksepticeye" McLoughlin will portray Q*bert, while Tyler "Ninja" Blevins, Imane "Pokimane" Anys, and Lannan "LazarBeam" Eacott will appear as themselves

Always wanted a GTA type film or show but this doesn't look good, i do like Ryan and Jodie Comer though but i'm giving this a miss.

You know... in soaps... when they have people pretending to play games and you can tell which ones actually do - because they use the controller realistically, whilst those who don't just sort of mash their thumbs into it? It looks like the writers of this are the latter
