We all get designated a forum member to give a present to. Obviously we can't physically buy one but we still gift the person a present which we think they'd like to open on Christmas day.

Example. If I drew LT out of the hat, I would buy him the autobiography of Ian McCaskill.

Add your names if you want to take part, the person running the game (not me, probably Kate) then draws out who buys for who. They then message each member with the person with the name of the forum member they're buying for and on Christmas day reveals who got what.

Remember though, it's secret and you don't find out who bought you it.
