I’m interested but it looks like it has the potential to be bad

My daughter loved S1 and was excited for S2 but didn't make it through the first episode ... I don't know if it's because it wasn't as good or if she simply grew out of it in the time between seasons. My personal opinion;

Spoiler:

It's a bit jarring that the story and suspense built through S1 only for S2 to start with them basically doing "normal kid stuff" again. Maybe they needed to go "the Supernatural route" and have the "big event" span the final episode of S1 and the first episode of S2 ("Supernatural" seasons always ended on a cliffhanger in the finale and then had a big season opener, before settling back down from episode 2 onwards). But yeah... basically the final few episodes of S1 really gathered pace and then the first of S2 was slow AF and we didn't even finish it

FWIW I thought the first season was ... watchable ... but a little slow. It could have done more (faster) with the concept and dragged things out a bit. And the youngest kid is sort of annoying.
