James has posted a new TiBB frontpage article.

ITV has confirmed that Big Brother will return for a third series in 2025, following a second series of Celebrity Big Brother, which will air in the spring. This will mark 25 years of Big Brother in the UK.

The channel's second series of the original reality show concludes tomorrow night.....

Great news! Was worried they'd cancel the civilian series due to the lower ratings.

However, we need DRASTIC changes. ITV have proven that they can pick fantastic housemates (and have done for both of their civilian series so far) but the production just isn't there. Wouldn't mind a complete freshen up.

New house, new format (length mainly), dare I say new presenters even...

Also they need to get rid of this "friendly, comical" Big Brother altogether, making quips and joking and making light of rule breaks/giving weak punishments. It's ridiculous.

I wish they'd transform the entire house like in the old C4 days , it was always exciting seeing the new house style reveal. Still keep the same size ,but do more of a makeover. It always use to look like a completely different house...and I loved it .

I found it lazy how ...all they did was change the odd colour this time ,and throw a paint splash design in . I took a liking to the paint splash design,but the overall house was lazy / still very samey to last year .

And I miss the presenter giving us a full house tour ,and telling us about the house features. And showing us the Dr room chair.

Agreed on all counts. Even the change from BB1 to BB2 was startlingly different and inspired.

It's probably for budget reasons. Back in the days of peak BB the budget would have been a lot higher
