Default Germany : Car has driven into local xmas market, 5 dead
Others in Germany say more are dead.


SkyNewsHD reports over 60 injured as well

A Black Car drove very fast into it.

Magdeburg City

[We have received reports that a car has
driven into a group of people at a
Christmas market in the eastern
German city of Magdeburg.

German news agency dpa reports that
the driver has been arrested.

Police said on X that extensive operations
were taking place at the Magdeburg
Christmas market.

The market in the city centre was closed
and further reports would follow, police added.

Magdeburg, which is west of Berlin,
is the state capital of Saxony-Anhalt
and has a population of about 240,000.]
