Eddie Jordan, the former Formula One team principal and current co-owner of London Irish rugby club, has died at the age of 76.
Jordan revealed in December that he had been undergoing treatment for “aggressive” bladder and prostate cancer but said that he had “pulled out of it, thankfully”, urging men to get their prostates checked. The cancer is understood to have returned aggressively. Jordan died in South Africa, where he lived for part of the year. The Jordan family said: “EJ brought an abundance of charisma, energy and Irish charm everywhere he went. We all have a huge hole missing without his presence. That's a shame. I'm not an F1 fan but my Dad and Brother are so I was kind of forced to watch it when I was at home. Awful disease...

 i was a huge fan of Jordan Racing  the debut of Michael Schumacher, as well as the first portuguese driver to get a podium and points, Tiago Monteiro in his teamhe was quite a legend in the F1
