Default Bring Back BB

Sorry if this has already been discussed, I only joined today.

But I don't like the current format with no live feed in the day time.

I used to really like the live feed because it was good to see what was going on in the house, but now it's gone a lot of my friends have stopped watching because of not being interested.

I don't know why Channel 4 stopped it? It's really ruining the show for me.

Sorry to sound negative, but I'm finding it difficult to get into it. It doesn't seem like BB!

I did the Search button, but it said it was disabled because of high demand.

You've suddenly changed your tune. I used to read DS every now and again especially off season, I remember reading you arguing through your teeth that you didn't watch the live feed and it wasn't necessary (assuming you are the same person that is)

Hi Tom ,

Good to talk to you . I did used watched live feed but didn't think getting rid of it would make much of an impact.

But over 2 weeks in, it definitely has. The problem is that some of my friends don't watch it anymore and so there's no one to talk about it. So it's a bit boring if you get what I mean cos there's no one to chat to about it and generally the media aint talking about it.

Also I thought Channel 4 would be updatuing their website regularly, but they don't.

Welcome to TiBB btw

I get what you mean though, something doesn't quite seem right about this year. Just casually watched so far especially the last week, it was a bit rubbish. Enjoying it so far tonight though so hopefully things are looking up but my outlook on it is next year is the last one so might as well enjoy it whilst its still here

(oh and just to clarify when I said about assuming its the same person i didn't mean it in a bad way like you're fake or whatever, I was just genuinely interested if by pure chance 2 different people get same username thats all but it seems its you anyway)

Some of the reasons they cited:

- Web clips are more popular (they aren't and can't be compared to live feed in the first place)

- Shows like I'm A Celebrity ditched live feed ages ago (Live feed was never a feature of shows like that, where as it is one of the fundamental factors of Big Brother)

- It doesn't get enough viewers (it recently came to light that the average live feed rating for BB9 was around 450,000, compared to the average of 3.6million that watched highlights)

Matt, tbf the 450,000 was E4 streaming not the red button. Still undoubtedly a bad move though

Hi Matt. Nice to talk to you.

Thank you for providing the reasons. Bad decision from Channel 4 I think.
