Yeah I agree that the Billy storyline is unrealistic and I was surprised that Heather wasn't announced as one of the characters being axed personally but apparently she has a "nice" storyline coming up - maybe Queenie will make a return?

I can't see EE showing Lucas murdering Ben to be honest, can you imagine the complaints? It could just be one of those deaths where you just know that he did it but you don't know how he did it. Also don't know if anyone knows her but when Mercy (E20 character) starts her work on EE, she brings along her grandma (played by Ellen Thomas) - she's been in lots of shows before, most recently played a character on Doctor Who. Many are suggesting she will become a love interest for Patrick what with Liz leaving, will be nice to see him have some happiness.

I agree Callum. No way will EE (or any soap) ever show a child being attacked by an adult

That's true but the whole storyline got millions of complaints and the only way to give it some justice was to kill off Stella, so if Lucas was to murder Ben (which in my opinion would be much worse than what Stella did to him) then the only possible outcome for Lucas would be for him to die as well or be arrested and serve life imprisonment, if was to go on the run and get away with everything then it wouldn't go down well with viewers.

Nah Lucas is going to get his due somehow. Not sure if the whole Ben thing will play a part but Lucas will cop it one day

I agree Callum. I can't see EastEnders showing Ben being murdered by an adult. Since Lucas isn't leaving the programme at the moment, then they may not be able to give him the life imprisonment sentence, although, if he was to murder Ben then it's a possiblilty Lucas would be announced as leaving around the time the murder is revealed to have happened. Maybe Ben will leave with Peggy at the end of the year? Or maybe he leaves with another character (kinda weird)?

Also, Lauren is leaving too, so I wonder how they'll do that. She hasn't been in it a lot recently because she's with Tanya. So I wonder how they'll work out this one.

I know people have been saying EastEnders is quite poor at the moment, but that is only because in the change of Executive Producer. Diederick has just kept some mini storylines for his exit because doing something huge wouldn't work over the change. Brian's first episodes begin on June 7th where he shares Executive credit with Diederick for one week. Then on the 14th his first proper solo episode begins where I am sure there will be some better storylines. I'm sure you will notice the change too.

Would be brave of EE to show if they went ahead, really sad that in RL some kids are murdered by adults

I agree i'm sure Eastenders will be back on form soon, it's been good but at times dull recently and thats because these were the episodes filmed before the Live Episode and it all got a bit confusing

I'm intrigued as to why Lauren will go as well, seems kind of strange considering Tanya moves back on the square later on in the year with boyfriend Greg. I was thinking maybe she would go into care again but both her parents live on the square so it would be silly for her to live with another family.

Send her off to College?.

I think Eastenders definetly needs a one or two more strong male characters as the women are much better characters where as the men are quite weak and tbh suck at the moment.

Ah I didn't know they were bringing Mercy into it, I guess that's why they haven't axed Fatboy then.
