To be honest Peggy is dumber than I thought if she honestly believed Phil wouldn't drop the match to the floor with the state he was in. He had just drunk two bottles of whisky prior to lighting the match and she honestly believed he didn't have the nerve to do it?

No, they probably deserve an award for the stunt itself. The director etc but the script and the acting ranged from mediocre to cringeworthy.
Great soap stunt set around a not so great storyline.

Just to delude myself for a laugh but half of Hollyoaks village will go up in fire on Bonfire Night with a few deaths and could be a surprise winner but I doubt it

, like both EE and HO anyway.

Well there was the explosion in underworld, then theres going to be an explosion in The viaduct which causes the tram crash.

And I agree Lacey deserves Best Actress, not to keen on Phil though, I think Aaron from Emmerdale is really deserving too

Glenda was one. The other is unknown. Sharon Marshall is going to recieve a lot of backlash for her comments, the way she said it was as if we were going to get Grant and someone like Sharon Watts or Chrissie back.

Indeed although theres lots of other talented actresses

, thought it was sweet when Kat Kelly mouthed '' she's great'' when Lacey won at the BSA.

Danny Miller will win an award soon, he's got plenty of time yet.. Steve McFadden is underrated IMO and he deserves it more.

Everyone loves Stevey Boy, lads at school who you wouldn't normally hear chatting about Eastenders were like 'Phil Mitchell is such a legend when he's drunk'

So hopefully that'll gather him alot of votes, the fact he's been talked about alot.
I wonder when Phil dies some day, if it'll be as hyped up as Peggy's 'death'?

Thats lads at school having a giggle at someone who's on drugs on the tele.
I hardly doubt they were sat there thinking; "That Steve is a splendid actor I must remember to post my vote for the next soap awards".

And I agree with whoever mentioned Peggy's exit seeming a bit abrupt if she just leaves in a taxi. So, maybe she drops dead from a heart attack or something tomorrow.
