Ieva had still been coming to terms with her recovery from the attack on her and Michaela - and she was frustrated that she couldn't have seen the attacker, but she was certain that she could feel that it was a woman. The subsequent murder of Jonas by Sofia had left her under the impression that Sofia attacked her in the showers, but something about this troubled her. If Sofia had tried to kill her, Michaela and Jonas - why? She'd never spoken to the woman, and although her history was bleak - Ieva remembered with a shudder the details on the news about her husband's body - trying to hang someone and then drown someone else was weird.

Both times she'd been interrupted - in trying to kill Ieva, and in god knows what else Jonas stumbled upon. Maybe she was being set up, Ieva feared.

The prisoners had been allowed access to the library again after the clean-up operation by Livia's guards - Ieva noticed that one of them was called Ben and she struck up a brief conversation with him about goats, of all thing. "I just really hate goats". What an introduction...
In the library with Ken, the weirdly quiet young American, off in the reading section with a Kurt Vonnegut novel, Ieva used a notepad in the main foyer to write down a list of suspects. She listed out all their names - Stefanie, Richard, Mariya, Ken, Netta, Arnaud, Hugh, Julianne, Chen, Luiz, Demetri and Hayley - and just stared at the piece of paper for a moment. She heard Ken leave the library to her right, when a voice came over the tannoy.

"Ieva Anuzis, please report to the parole office immediately."
She recognised it to be Livia's harsh bark and even with her voice obstructing it, she couldn't help but take this as good news. Was she due for release? She set off for the office, with a spring in her step.

"Explain," Livia sat down, placing a discarded bloodstained razor on the table in front of her. Ieva was dumbfounded.
"I don't... what is this?" she stammered.
"This," Livia picked up the razor, "is the weapon used to stab Michaela Snow, your so-called friend. It was found in a strip search of your cell. Stuffed inside a pillow's padding." She set it down again, and when Ieva went to grab it, she pulled it back quickly. "Don't get any stupid ideas, Anuzis."
"Miss, please, there has been a huge mistake - I was hanging and about to die when she was killed! Why can't you see this?" she pleaded, making a PRETTY OBVIOUS POINT THAT FIVE OF YOU MISSED OUT ON.
"Nobody was around to witness your story, Ieva. Who's to say that you didn't just impassionately stab Michaela after she rejected your advances?"
"Well I'm not gay for a start-"
"I don't want to hear about your fantasies, Anuzis. The proof is stacked against you. There are no witnesses for your story. I have no choice but to place you in solitary confinement."
"Livia, this is ridiculous," she stood up but was restrained by two guards - one of whom was that Ben guy. She tried bleating like a goat to get him away from her but he seemed to be dealing with it quite well.
"No, Ieva, making goat noises when you're accused of murder is ridiculous. Take her away."

Ieva was dragged, kicking and screaming, to a dark, padded cell in the far south wing of the ICB complex. She wouldn't be seen again until the real killer was discovered, but for now, she was at least safe.
