Arnaud and Ken had made friends a few days after arriving at the prison and Ken was quite ignorant of the fact that Arnaud's homosexuality made him the victim of taunts from both camps - the female and male inmates. He wasn't exactly cosmopolitan, but Ken didn't care for whatever Arnaud did in the bedroom. They were chatting, mostly about films, along a corridor to the control tower roughly an hour later when they made the grisly discovery of Livia's body.

"Ring the alarm!" Arnaud panicked, as he ran towards her.
"Don't touch her, you'll be blamed for it," Ken spoke calmly.

The commotion alerted a couple of others nearby to their location, and Julianne and Hugh came first (oo-er). Julianne had to physically restrain Arnaud who, by now, at this stage in the ICB5 story, is my token hysterical fag who quotes Beyonce song titles when confronted with corpses.

"This is just a horrible Deja Vu (feat. Jay Z)" he shrieked, crying into her shoulder.
"There there," she patted him, a little grossed out.
Hugh had been staring at Ken for a while now and the subtext made Arnaud quiet.
"What am I missing here?" he winked and

ed at this not remotely homoerotic exchange.
"You don't seem very surprised, Ken," Hugh began, with a hint of accusation in his voice. By now, Richard and Mariya had also latched onto the group and found the bleeding corpse. They, too, looked at Ken who seemed oddly solemn.

Once the entire facility's number of inmates - bar Stefanie who was still in the nurse's wing - had crowded around, Richard attempted to take command.
"Clearly, someone is not going to stop until we're all dead. I might have even said it was that psycho bitch Livia and her terrible prison-managing skills but apparently she'd not invincible either."
Hugh was a little bit aggrieved that Richard seemed to think he was the leader but let him continue.
"But the fact here is: Ken has never spoken to any of us except the messy fag over there. He's the first to discover Livia. He's never told any of us what he's in here for. Who's to say he's not the killer?"
There was an awkward silence but a definite element of doubt hanging in the air. Ken didn't even try to defend himself - except when Mariya lashed out.
"They're all dead because of you!" she clawed at him, as she was held back by Chenzira and Hugh. She broke free though and gave chase - because Ken had taken this time to turn on his heel and run for it.

Ken had lost the group in the library and now, a little out of breath but still quiet and composed, headed quickly back to his cell. He could hear their cries in the distance, and so had to act fast. He reached for the family heirloom his grandmother had given to him when he was just 10 years old. It had belonged to his father's side of the family for generations and - not until that one night 3 years ago that resulted in him murdering his grandmother and landing in this place - never been used. He decided it'd be best to give it one last try.

He took the sheath off the samurai sword and thrust it into his own stomach. He barely flinched as he made the swift movement and completed the act of seppuku (HELLO NAME OF THE VIDEO I POSTED AT THE START OF TONIGHT). At least he could do it on his own terms - he knew he was guilty of nothing in ICB, but he wouldn't let the killer get the best of him.
