Task 5 - TacTics, Tot.
For the fifth task, you had to play a game of tic tac toe that would give the first 3 players immunity. Things became a bit of a mess as Lucas, Drew and Jake all tried to grab them early on - but little old innocent Niamh sauntered in and let Marc's team leadership guide her to another immunity. Josy and Drew were the other two to then secure immunity, and Lucas and Jake were sent to their deaths on account of them being silly little bitches or something. Here's what Marc said, anyway:

Task Six - Gotcha
For the sixth task, I split the 8 remaining players into four pairs, and asked you all to make a case against your partner for being the killer. I got some pretty great entries, but the judges and I decided that Jake's was the best.

Now, again, it may have taken eagle eyes to see, but immediately after announcing that he had won the task, I changed my custom title to "gotcha". Who was Jake's partner in the task again? Oh, just Niamh

The worst case, it was decided, was Donovan's - and he faced Isolation with his partner Josy as a result. This would go on to be a pretty lucky circumstance for Niamh, as Josy's second time in Isolation, but at this stage in the game Niamh still wanted to play it fair.

Task Seven - Opportunity Knocked
With only seven players left, there were still, surprisingly, no real stand-out contenders for the most suspicious player. In a task called Lockdown, I gave the first 3 players another opportunity to get their hands on profile information on anyone they liked, and Jon managed to secure his final immunity of the game in a maths puzzle just before it started, as his second stint as team leader (having failed the first time around).

Now, trust Jon to open a can of worms

I think the killer is either Marc or Annie due to when Braden was stabbed in the dark you said that four people did not notice that he could not be the killer as he was hanging when Kate was being killed off. But five people voted for him and only Marc and Annie are left in the game out of the 5 so I think its one of them unless you made a typo and I am way off.

I dont want to think Marc is the killer so my first pick to send to isolation is Annie . I think Marc is also stronger then Annie so him sticking around might help him being eliminated next round.

My second pick is more strategic and I will pick Josy unfortunately. I am hoping keeping people like Marc and Drew might get them eliminated in the next round instead of me.

So sorry to ramble a bit but my final picks are Annie and Josy to face isolation.

So, whilst he may have intended to have catch Annie out by Josy automatically dying - he in fact played into Niamh's hands and gave her the chance to make Josy survive for a third time.

Task Eight - And Finally...
For the final task, I gave the six players a game of dominoes. Now, I have to confess here: I wanted Niamh automatically in the final, so I gave her her answers to secure immunity just after Drew and Marc made the final - just to avoid suspicion Josy was the final player through, guessing a number that was closest to one I had in mind. This put Jake and Jon up for the chop one last time, and - sorry Jake - but I did actually try to persuade her to kill you

Hey, so it's jake or jon to kill last. Bearing in mind that I think Drew suspects Jon and no one suspects Jake (in the game anyway), I would go for Jake but obviously it's totally up to you

yeah that's a good point - and taking out a gameplayer would probably make them suspect each other more than you (since you don't have a history of it), and it would probably go in your favour

So, her final killing - although not technically a killing since 'Hugh' is still alive as we speak - was the only one done out of actual tactics rather than trying to frame Josy, or going for the least active player.

The In Cold Blood history has been largely against killers; only Braden and PJ have made the finals of their series since being selected for murder-duty at the beginning of the game. In ICB3, MTVN was caught, and ICB4 saw Niall slip up somehow. Niamh, however, has been meticulous in flying under the radar, and didn't receive a single vote in either of the game's official Stabs in the Dark. Her only real moment of panic as the killer came at the very start of the game, when *Kate* made an innocent comment about the cat in her signature being at risk. As revealed above, her reasons for killing have been mostly fair in an attempt to make it look like anyone could've been the killer, but she's also steered the forum towards suspecting Josy (who had 0 stabs in SITD1, and just the 1 in SITD2... now she has 9 ).
Drew.
As the game's most prolific visitor to the immunity clinic, Drew picked up a rather useful 4 immunities through his cunning task activity and right timing. He was therefore never sent to Isolation, and has never had his time in the game under jeopardy. He, along with Niamh, is the only other player to escape both Stabs in the Dark completely unsuspected, so if he were the Killer I imagine he'd have been pretty successful. What better reason is there for a gamewinner than that?
Marc
A fact that probably won't surprise anyone: Marc's been the most active poster of all of this series' players. He's also the only finalist that has actually been team leader - and his management made sure that the Tic Tac Tot task, notoriously the most difficult to pass on account of needing everyone online at the right time, and some players' dastardly attempts to sabotage the game and grab immunity for themselves He's also picked up two immunities - although it's probably worth pointing out that one was through luck (the map task) and the other was a formality (the pairs task). He's only picked up one stab at a time, too.
Josy
The case might be stacked up quite against Josy on account of her accumulating all of those last-minute votes, and surviving so many isolations... but in a way, isn't that really her charm? The final's most resilient player, she's been sent to her death more times than I can count and mostly because of other players' failings (such as Donovan's last-placing in the pairs task; she actually beat both Annie and Drew - and Marc but no1curr - but they managed to average her out). No other player has had to fight so hard for this place.
Jake.
Jake might contest Josy's tenacity, though - he's survived 2 isolations too, and even my own attempts to get Niamh to kill him He won the prosecution task, with his hilarious case against Niamh being the killer, and has therefore been immune from the killings twice, too. He's also in a Jessie J tribute band with me so please go gentle on him x
