A meteoric surge in votes saw Shaun claim 2nd place, and deservedly so. He seems to run about half of the competitions that make the forum so interesting to be on in the off season months. Members acknowledged this, with reasons like “this forum would be a hell of a lot less fun without Shaun. From his witty, hilarious comments to his extremely fun games, he provides a great deal of entertainment for us sad, lonely folks at home. Less notably, Shaun can show very in-depth intelligent responses and can pretty much fit in whichever thread or forum he so chooses” representing the bulk of why he earned your points. Voters said things like “everybody needs a fierce black queen for a friend, and Shaun's the fiercest of them all. And he does an excellent job with In Cold Blood,” when voting for him, “he has grown on me so much over the last year or so. He puts in so much time into the forum. I love how he says exactly what he thinks but really he's just a big softy” and “the thing I like most about Shaun is that he’s met Zee – he’s met Zeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Apart from that, he’s fairly averagely astounding. He has a perfectly shaped heart, which is beautiful, warm and kind and I thoroughly love him a lot. The effectiveness and brilliance of his timing of the use of the C word has raised questions with the Education Minister as to whether it should be introduced as an acceptable part of the English National Curriculum in an alternative way of expressing your views. No matter how many of his balls he’s juggling, he always takes time to respond to anything people ask him; regardless of how many other people have asked him the very same thing. He’s the fountain of all knowledge – he’s the queen of the forum - he’s the games master of TiBB – goddammit, he is TiBB!!!” Reasons like “DAT DAVID BOWIE”, “raconteur and wit par excellence. This man turns swearing into an art-form. He is the most consistently amusing person I know and I adore him”, and “I adore Shaun, he's a cheeky little soul with a wicked sense of humour and a kind heart. Yes, his bark is ferocious, but it's worse than his actual bite. He does a lot for the forum and is worth his weight in gold frankly” glittered in my inbox, while others stated they were voting “for his music taste alone is enough reason to vote him, but add in the fact he is quick-witted, very funny and a very creative guy it means he without a doubt deserves my vote.” “He adds a lot to the forum,” said one user, and he picked up points “because he has epic music taste and his personality cannot be forgotten.” He scored highly because “he is a great mixture of funny and smart, and has a good music taste”, “nearly all of his posts make me cackle, how his satiric wit is always so sharp I'll never know. And because he scares me a little bit” and “he has been blessed with the gift of being a super bitch and still lovable with it. When will your fave?” One member said “I can't remember if I voted for Shaun last year, mainly because for a long time I thought he was a knob. He can be a knob still sometimes but I've learnt to ignore it. I love his quick witted responses and he can be really funny. We may not get on all of the time but I love him anyway.” To another member, he’s “one of the funniest guys I know. His dry wit and delivery is second to none. He's also a really good friend.. the kind of friend who will send you a text in the middle of the night because your cat has died,” and to others they voted him because “I consider him a true friend and I both adore and envy his quick wit and his legendary shade throwing. I also have to vote for him since he's my baby daddy and I need to remind him to pay Child Support since Shulandra and Dezandria need new weaves.” But getting the final word in, obviously, is none other than yours truly. Here’s why I voted for Shaun: “what would my Most Loved votes be without Shaun? Time and time again he has proven himself to be TiBB's most valued member. He provides so much for the forum, his posts are absolutely fantastic and he makes me laugh more than any other member. He's my best TiBB friend and I'll always cherish the weekend I spent with him in real life, we had so much fun together, he is honestly every bit as amazing as you'd think he would be and I love him so much, I can't believe it's been 10 months since I went to visit him! He might not always win Most Loved but he absolutely deserves to, he's the best!”
