Wasn't Corbyn asked to step down as Leader of the Labour Party several times due to his abysmal performance and he just wouldn't go - and here he was running for PM.

If he can get away with it anyone can.

The sad thing is a hung parliament in this time of major disruption is not a great result for the country but she only has herself to blame. Sadly we will be stuck with Corbyn now with no hope for a decent Labour leader for a while. Though I don't think this was a vote for him as much as a vote against conservative policy gaffes. Worrying times.

I was a tory voter so I can say it. She saw an opportunity to increase her majority, gambled and lost, and she has made her position untenable now in negotiating with the EU. She arrogantly brushed aside those that wanted a less harsh exit from the EU, and she has paid the price.

I've never witnessed a poorer campaign or a worse presented manifesto, she excluded all but a small inner circle from having any input, so she must now take 100% responsibility for it.

I agree with everything you've said apart from the suggestion of a less harsh Brexit. People constantly try to blur the edges of Brexit. The reality is there no such thing as a hard or soft Brexit. We voted to leave, we need to leave, we can't keep bits of it. We can seek a future trading deal but anything else is staying in some sort of EU Lite and what is the point of that?

Things changed for him as they could for May. No one could have foreseen or would have believed that when so many wanted him to go.

Besides he was sold to the youngsters with tales of free uni fees and a lot more money in their pockets all round. Very tempting for young people who have no experience of Labour's history of broken promises. They were manipulated into voting for Labour by the Labour masses who were desperate to win.

This is true ,his own party wanted him gone ,he wouldn't shift and look what happened,anything can happen and people do tend to for get she won even after a poor manifesto,so no great achievement for Corbyn really,he should have walked it.
