Tbf, the business in question does appear to be quite racist here.

Guy sounds like someone who’s experienced institutional racism, something you’ll never understand in this lifetime.

It’s a real, proven thing that companies avoid giving interviews to people with non-white sounding names, hopefully they get sued for a lot of money as punishment for their clear racism

https://www.mynamestats.com/Last-Nam...SON/index.html This happens all the time and even though LT wants proof its not so easy to come by. Using LT's source the name Jackson suggest a black person 53% of the time so LT has confirmed the theory. ![]()

Some high profile jobs or even (in the media such as the BBC) low level jobs all but say "straight white men need not apply", neither situation is okay.

Why does institutional racism, no matter the context or title of job, hurt so much? Do you people actually hear yourselves?

The point I was questioning is ... it's a hotel. Why apply multiple times, including under a fake name?

You have this kind of privilege that loves perpetual debate, even when it’s not appropriate. I don’t even know what to say to you to be honest.

LT used Jackson as a first name and that why the stats were wrong. Very sloppy.
If I were to go thru more of LT's posts would I find further 'inaccuracies'. ![]()
