I read not too long ago, Rockstar wanted to make a Movie of GTA IV but most the Actors they wanted werent up to playing the parts
 But if the ever do decide to make a Movie of Grand Theft Auto, What Game should it be? Vice City? San Andreas? Liberty City? You dont necessarly have to choose your favourite game, just think of the Storyline,Missions and Characters and how they would look in a film and who could play parts  I love Vice City, but I dont think a movie would be too good for it. Why? Because there is already 2 Movies that are excacally the same as Vice City basically, Scarface and Miami Vice. San Andreas has a good story and I think it would make a good movie but on the other hand so would GTA IV as they could actually film it in New York And it would be good to see who would play the characters.Were as in San Andreas the entire cast would be predictable.. Heres 3 Trailers of Past GTA Games: I think IV Looks alot like a Movie, Just watched the 'Lost and Damned' Credits and they look like Movie Credits lol Each of the following Trailers are 'Trailer #1' of each Game which is why theres no 'Action' or 'Missions' showen in them. Vice City San Andreas Liberty City I Can Imagine it now, sitting in the Cinema waiting for A Movie to start and a trailer comes on showing a GTA Movie

You are aware the idea would not work because the games themselves are based loosely off movies? Vice City takes a lot of it's cues from Scarface, San Andreas from the likes of Heat & Boys In The Hood and the original GTA III from a score of Mafia films.
Converting them back to movies would just make them look like rip offs of the aforementioned movies. |
