State your name and either who you were named after or why you were called that, might be interesting

Jordan - named after Michael Jordan the basketball player.

My brother is called Brandon, and he is named after Brandon Lee from the film 'The Crow', as it is one of the last films my mum watched before having birth to him.

You can also say other options you would have been called, and names if you were the opposite sex if you wish!

Apparently my Dad was a big speedway fan [well, I know he was] and there was a racer called Shaun Loram or something? That's where he got the idea.

Oh cool Shaun! I didnt have any other option names for a boy, but if I was a girl, Id either be called Jade or Sky lol!

I have the same name as my dad and my middle name is the same as my dad's brother, whom I've never met as he's dead. Clearly weren't creative.

My parents couldn't agree on my name because my mum wanted to call me Angelo and my Dad, Dimitri or Boris. Therefore they chose a very very French one: Rémy.

If I was a girl, they would have called me Marina, it works either way in Russian and in Italian.

My mum had Ciaran picked out for a boy so she just changed it to Ciara.

I was named after 'Thomas the Tank Engine'... seriously. Apparently my older brother and sister were watching it while they were coming up with names.

I was named after Marc Bolan, lead singer of T. Rex.

Mum is a huge fan. However they considered Kevin (:/) because all 3 of my sisters names begin with a K and they wanted to fit me in with that. But thankfully I didn't

EDIT: Oh and one of my middle names is my fathers name!

I really like the name Kevin. Marc sounds much more cooler with a "c" at the end

Yeah it makes me different :P I love T Rex as well, kind of had to whilst growing up but I can't complain! Just widens my musical interests a little more than they already are! Such a shame he died so early.

Kinda same with me Marc.

I begin with J then my brother was born and they called him Jay.

Then my 2 sisters were born and both their names begin with an S, Stephanie & Sophie.

My mother picked Michelle Christine before I was born but she had an emergency caesarian under anaesthetic so she was asleep. My father had to name me straight away because I was very sick when I was born, I had fluid in my lungs so I almost died and my heart stopped twice. He picked Jessica Louise

I love my name! I hate the name Michelle!

I used to like the name Michelle but recently the name gets on my nerves for some reason.
