Merlin got through to the callbacks. Ha what a muppet, seems lke a nice enuf person tho.

I auditioned in Manchester. I got a middle-aged curly haired woman and a small skinny blonde woman. They were really judgemental about all my answers, so it made me really on-edge and nervous.

My mate got a guy with glasses who, I think he said, was gay (or came across that way) and a small woman with beady eyes and glasses, who said nothing but reacted to everything he said.

so only 78 get to the mock diary room when they come back the next day. My friend said there were only 10 people there when he went back for his discussion with other potentials and his diary room.

The 78 people thing isn't a definite, it's just a calculation from something I heard about past series.

Your friend was probs only with about 10people because they're given time slots of when to come and do the DR.
They don't want everyone turning up at the same time, to then have to sit there for ages just for an interview that won't even last 10minutes. If they give appointments then it spreads out evenly across the day.

my friends interview went for 35 minutes. He said big brother was trying to make him slip up then trying to make him laugh. Big brother told him to keep it quiet and to answer private numbers. Apparently they were really interested in a Bimbo chick in the discussion

Yeah it's to try and catch people out and stop fake people going in. You get gameplayers and fame wannabes but it's to stop the liars.

And (not certain) but when they watch the clips back to decide who they want to take further, I think a psychologist watches them as well to see body language, facial expressions, etc. to try and spot things. Like if BB brings up a topic and the auditionee looks uncomfortable then the BB team will probs take that on board.
They don't wanna put someone in a situation where their life will be splashed over the press if they can't even have a conversation with BB.

Why do they ask for them but not if they can see it? He did say big brother was saying for him not to speak to anyone and to keep it hush also during the group discussions he said there were two ladies one old one who he thinks was a psychologist and the other he didn't know. He also said they knew who they were interested in already and ignored some people altogether

Oh damn.. so he has got far into the rounds? Yeah there will be psychologists lurking around trying to catch you out. They probably do have their minds set on who they want in. The producer told me they are looking for people who can sustain intellectual conversations for 13 weeks. I think they should only let in a model from an agency or whatever if they have proof of intelligence. Such as a page 3 girl with a law degree? because all the models and page 3 girls we have had have mostly been a bit thick. BB are full of bollocks. lol

I know a lot of people are intelligent without degree's etc.. but for some housemates they are going to let in such as the stereotypical glamour girl.. they need something different to what we have NOT seen before which clears them away of the "stereotypical blonde bimbo" etc..

Yes he is still in the running said they were interested in him asking him questions about news topics.does anyone have a pic of the big brother psychologist i'll send to him to check it was her. So you think everyone who gets in should have a university degree, university doesnt equal intelligence but i guess it sets the scene for deep and heated conversations.it is driving him crazy though when we watching celebrity bb he is like that could be me.

yeah psychologists can't tell who will make a good housemate. That's half the issue. So anyone who doesnt get a callback from them does that mean the psych's think they are not psychologically ready. He wants to know when he'll find out. He doesn't want to put his life on hold how long do you think he should wait for them to call?

They will call after the February auditions in London. I am GUESSING by end of Feb time? Beginning of March?

yeah i know what you mean. What are some common body language signs that would have been shown in an interview. Who were the two people in the room after you did the questionare were they producers, psychologists? How did they know who to pick. With the different rooms there is no fairness or consistancy to the process

He was there in the morning sometime, had a discussion for a bit then diary room for a while just askin him random stuff bout his application and when he was leaving they said not to tell anyone but if wants he can tell one person that he trusts that will not tell anyone, when he was there on the saturday tho and he handed in his application they wanted him there early they wouldnt let him have an afternoon appoinment he was peed a bit
