I sent off the form to register yesterday, hopefully I will be registered in time for the election

Yes but not being registered prevents you from voting in referendums as well that you may want a say in like the one we had on abortion etc.

I wasn't saying anything about not being registered. I was responding to a comment that explicitly said only tools and fools don't vote.

I am registered, of course, and enjoy sticking it to the man on occasion.

Dont be naive. No one likes "any of the choices presented" because people who gravitate to politics do so for personal power reasons and if they dont when they go in they do when they are in but it is all we have so you have to make a choice. If you dont like what you see then get involved.

if you have ever been involved in Politics you soon realise that ideals are just grand but reality is much nastier and harder.

if all you do is vote you have done something. Most folks who dont vote for the reasons you give end up doing nothing apart from droning in someones ear in a pub.

you have to vote by law.

And you can tick a No Vote
for no one.
So even if you do not like any leader
you can still vote No for no one

Im registered, dont know if I'll bother voting though...seems pointless...will be between labour and tories...and I hate them both.

i'm registered but i dont vote cos to me they are allnas bad as each other and i'm not going to waste my time voting cos frankly none of them deserve to be in power

I'm registered because I've never moved house in my life so I didn't have to bother to do it myself. I don't vote though,I don't have opinions on stuff like that.
