Its not that hes a legend, almost anybody could have come up with those designs imo but the're iconic with BB, i wouldnt want it to change for the last series.

Eatock has been here from 2001, we all love his work and his eyes are very iconic.

His eyes are what makes Big Brother recongizable, and he NEEDS to return for June.

Im sorry but I will be more upset if the eye isnt Eatock than I would be if they axed Live Feed all together.

I have a feeling it wont be an Eatock despite what several insiders and sources say.

I just hope im wrong but this time tomorrow for all we know we could have the eye, I just hope to god im sitting this time tomorrow saying 'YAY EATOCK DESIGNED AN AMAZING EYE' rather than 'What is this bollocks?'

i like the normal eye aswell i suppose, but deffo prefare the eatock eye..

I've seen eyes made on here that are 10x the quality of any of his, and I think he has become rather lazy, you'd think he'd have made little changes here and there

Half the eyes on here arent that good, some of them are outstanding and very good but then the others like recent ones posted by people are the same old templates with their own design and about 10 diffrent colours.


I think its fair to say Eatock has got better over the years though.

The BB5 eye wasnt that good, neither was any of the ones before that.

But from BB6 on he started getting better, I think BB7 and BB9 had the best eyes designs.

But all Eatock does is think "what way can I have the lines this year?" then decides on some design that has NOTHING to do with the show

True, Well then again he does design alot of eyes every year so im sure he does alot of good designs and not just a few lines, come to think of it BB8 and BB9 were the only seasons really that didnt have little lines in the eyes.

He doesnt know what the theme is though thats why he doesnt do the eyes to have somthing to do with the show, He just makes a few and C4 pick one.

I think they tell him sometimes though if they want a specific theme, Stu told me this the other night.. about how for BB5 they may of asked him to do a Evil eye, and that reflected the show.


BB6, 9, 7 And 8 all had eyes that were alot like the house itself though.. except for BB10 IMO That eye was just out of the blue and it had nothing to do with this 'Thumb print' thing.

BB9's was creative, and I suppose BB8's was too, but I hate BB8's due to it reminding me of the first BB that disappointed me

Everytime I look at the BB8 eye I just think what a good eye it is, and how that series had so much potential but it failed completely and being entertaining.

Yet if you think about it, it seems to get noticed and stuff the most.

Heres a few examples:

Samanda were in alot more of them Funeral Pictures than anyone else.

The BB8 eye is constantly on Youtube when you want to see somthing to do with BB.

The BB8 eye is one of the most recongizable to everyone else outside the UK because its on Google Images more than any other eye.

BB8 is uploaded to 4oD even though it was 3 years ago.

Brian Belo is constantly on BBLB and BBBM even though no one cares about him.




So you can all see what I mean, even though the majority of BB Fans dislike BB8, Channel 4 seem to give it more publicity even to this day.

Voted for Human Eye, but it doesn't have to be a human eye so long as its' different.

The Eatock eyes are great, but it would be a step backward for them to go from the CBB7 eye - the most unique we've had since Hijack - to another design in an eye shaped template.
