UBB has failed because not enough argumentative HM's have returned. And when they DID bring back a few good ones, they either kicked them out (Coolio) or let them fall victim to the public vote (McCririck).

Here's what the line up should have been:

1) Science
2) Victor
3) McCririck
4) Maxwell
5) Saskia
6) Derek
7) Makosi
8) Coolio
9) Charley
10) Marcus
11) Freddie
12) Bea
13) Ahmed
14) Channelle
15) Stephen Baldwin
16) Vinne Jones

The above 16 would have guaranteed entertainment. There are enough polar opposites there also to ensure arguments would be commonplace.

So far, we have Victor who MIGHT cause conflict but this is unlikely as he has no one to really argue with. Coolio MIGHT have been a potential rival but he was booted out (pathetic). If the above list was in we'd see a LOT more entertainment. So far though, it's been either spoiled by BB interfering (i.e. Telling McCririck to be 'nice'/throwing Coolio out) or ruined because BB didn't put in enough argumentative HMs.

Get Brian, Chantelle, Preston and Ulrika out!

iRyan, my list includes the greatest HM's with most of them involved in heated arguments. The only exception really was Baldwin, but he was entertaining just being himself.

No, Sea, it is NOT.

The point of UBB was to bring back, you know, ULTIMATE HMs from BB past. The only BB11 HM to be included was this years winner, which is fair enough. That's why I didn't include Sam in my list (the only entertaining HM in BB11).

So, Sea, I'm afraid your previous post WAS pointless.

Anyway, I'd like to see WHY you think my list isn't a fantastic one. I think you'll find that the proposed list is far better than the current line up. BB history is proof of this, i.e. the HMs listed all provided much airtime/debate/arguments.

For me, arguments do not equal entertainment. Yeah sure a bit of conflict adds to the drama and all but to deliberately put people in for the purpose of regular arguments? It's just uncomfortable viewing for me personally.
I'm rather happy with the lineup we have, bar a few, and I'm glad we got shot of that idiot McCririck off our screens. Disgusting man with horrible values.
I would have liked to see Aisleyne and Rodrigo in there if I were to change the lineup.
But for me, I don't like to see constant arguing on there - it's not nice to watch!

Kate Lawler said she turned it down........TBH everybody will have a different set of HM'S who they think should be in. There is no guarantee that many of them wouldn't have 'kissed and made up'...after all they are Z listers with a bit of money now......even Victor has mellowed, Bass and Ahmed hugged, so did Hutton and Makosi etc etc.
I think we have to enjoy the entertainment it HAS provided, though I do agree there have been times (at nite!!) when they should have been made to do more. But their budgets would feed half of Pakistan nowadays.......the harsh treatment of the early BB has gone........and with it most of the big arguments.
