No it's the end of the "nations sweetheart" unfortunately.

"Nations sweetheart" is a term used to loosely anyway.They need to re-evaluate it's meaning. It's because of talentless people like her and Kim Kardashian that a lot of girls want a quick route to fame.

I think part of the reason she chose them two is because there was doubt Gamu would be able to perform the up-beat numbers with dancing and alot of expression. Yes, she has a wonderful voice but it's about overall ability and personality aswell. And the song given to Katie (I don't know if she chose it or not) was completely wrong for her.

This guy is spot on again, she doesnt just have to have an opinion she has to judge what they do firstly from the auditions, then at boot camp and then under the main spotlight at the judges houses,her opinion should then be formed from recognising who firstly she likes and then how they perform and how well they deliver from the songs they are given to sing at the judges house.

She failed on all counts because she put through 2 acts who couldn't, wouldn't and didn't sing and perform the songs they were given,while casting aside those who had sang and performed.

An opinion has to be formed professionally from all those aspects,Cheryl neither had opinion or ability,the fact is she put through 2 acts who did nothing at all at her house,just as jedward fever says.
Had Cheryl done that in her talent contest. she would never have got to be in Girls Aloud.

If she has indeed used only a personal opinion to decide then she has been grossly unprofessional and really someone else should be doing the job instead of her.
