Rebecca will do well and keep getting possitive feedback until the last 5 and then the judges will suddenly turn on her. She'll end up coming 3rd like Stacey Solomon.

She'll grow with confidence, she'll get better as the weeks go by and then she has a really good shot at winning

I like her too and hope I'm wrong but I can just see the judges favouring backing Matt and being biast in her feed back.

She'll pull a Joe/Alex and stay under the radar for most of the competition but will become a favourite later on.

I like her but away from the slow standards I think she may well struggle. And her lack of confidence still makes me uncomfortable.

She won't get far in the industry being a nervous nelly. Own the stage or sweep it.

I think aiden will end up doing a leon Jackson, continue to get worse and end up with the sympathy vote and end up being a flop, same as I think Olly from last year will do a Shayne Ward have limited success and then flop. The American Idol contestants seem to have much better success.

alot more of the american idol contests have really successful careers in American than the ones you named. Just because you're not aware of them doesn't mean they're not out there being successful.

This. Katherine McPhee has done well, Taylor Hicks has performed with Snoop Dogg, Clay Aitken has done well too.

Rebecca is a bit too retro. She might produce an Amy Winehouse type album but it'll be difficult for her to have a long term career in the industry.

I think you are drawing the wrong conclusions from what little you have heard from Rebecca. Have you heard her dance/club track, details in this thread:

Once you hear it, you'll realise that Rebecca's voice isn't just unique but also incredibly versatile and she is definitely going to enjoy a long term career in the industry, imo.
