I'd not be so sure it was a good thing. Most likely, it's people having to keep rewatching because they couldn't believe how badly she murdered the song the first time they heard it.

If they'd thought she's murdered it, they wouldn't watch it again. You just don't want to accept the fact she's really popular.

nah she murdered the song. You don't want to accept the fact that she did, but then again, I doubt you really know much about Elton John or his huge musical talents, or indeed, his songs. Cher did it no justice at all. She murdered it as anyone who is an Elton John fan, is happy to confirm. Me being one of them.

But I have heard his songs, that one Cher sang is really good, and I thought she did well with it, obviously as did lots of people

You wouldn't watch a performance you don't like though, even though she is the talking point.. it's not really relevant.

And you'd only watch it once if you'd missed the actual show, so whatever way you look at it, she's more popular as she's being viewed more.

I feel sorry for anyone sad enough to watch something again if they hated it the first time.

You'd think the XFactor would consider some psych tests on those imbalanced contestants, you know, the ones with lots of issues:....such as Katie, and backgrounds that show they are known for being bullies sch as Cher....but hey, that's showbiz for ya!

It doesn't surprise me that Cher gets a lot of views.. she's original and has style.. I don't like her but good look to her I hope she does well. I don't really get all the hate for her, or Katie really.

Cher deserves credit for tackling difficult songs like Stay. The fact she wasnt gifted with an amazing voice means she has to try a lot harder.

And she is one of only a few who have actually been improving week after week.
