Now all we need is the skin but James said it'll come soon, I think this week.

Anyway I have a question

I think we've all established Davina McCall is not returning.
So if Big Brother does return, and we find out in a few weeks, what other things would you be REALLY annoyed at if they didn't make a return?

Like things that would probably put you off watching?

I'm fine with Davina not coming back tbh, it just depends on who replaces her.

The things that would seriously ****** me off if they didn't come back would have to be:

• Marcus Bentley
• Daniel Eatock's Eye Designs
• Launch Night Twists
• Big Brother's Little Brother
• Big Houses
• Element 4

Marcus is a legend and is the voice of Big Brother, who doesn't want him back?
People say 'Davina is Big Bruva' no... no she's not.
Marcus Bentley is a bigger part of the show, does he get credit? No the only sign of support he ever got from the world was when he was offered a bloody Jaffa Cake by John James.


Eatock's Designs, I mean they simply are an iconic piece of art.
People know STRAIGHT AWAY when they see them 'Oh that's Big Brother'.
Our Logos are the best in the world, Look at Australia's horrible eye brow, or BBUSA's House logo or the other countries who simply have a circle that says 'Big Brother' in it.

The Eyes usually give of a theme or tell us abit about what the producers are going for, and don't say they don't because they do.
BB7 - Swirly House
BB9 - Shattered House
BB11 - Goodbye Theme

etc


Launch Night Twists are a big part too. Honestly if BB12 does happen whether it's this summer or next I don't want to walk away from the launch the same way I did in June 2010.
I was like I couldn't believe how rubbish it was and how pathetic the 'twist' was.
We need an original twist to get the audience hooked from the start.


BBLB, Now alot of people blame Spin Off's as reason for BB Failing.
I don't I think it's healthy to have them, Big Mouth is a disgrace and fell apart when Jack Whitehall left, BBLB amused me, where would it go though? Fiver?


Big House, I simply want a house like Big Brother 6 and Big Brother 7 where the layout was literally, it's hard to describe.. it was all one big room with the Kitchen joined on to the main area and the Living Area being separate in the garden and I don't mean like BB10's ugly house I mean like BB6s.
And a BIG garden too with a pool would be good, Do you think they would return to the main house we've used since 2002 since it'll be there until 2013?


Finally, Element 4!
What an epic song alot like the eye, it's iconic too.
I'd probably be pissed off the most actually if they changed the theme tune, would you?

I mean picture yourself sitting there in June 2011 [or 2012] watching the launch with your Pringles or whatever and the new presenter introduces the show with a one liner and then these new graphics come on with some ******ing American Soap Opera Theme Song played over them!

It would make me vomit and put me off the show right away.
Big Brother UK has always been a really fun show and Element Four is a fun tune.
It MUST STAY, They can remix it abit if they wish but if they remove it and bin it I'll ******ing cut Desmond's bollocks off.



So yeah main two things that MUST STAY for me are the Eyes and The Theme.

Sorry if that's alot to read, I tend to write alot when I'm talking about Big Brother as some of you may remember from the past 2 Summers.

Patrick, you just about summed everything up for me.
I do think the standard of material in BBLB and BBBM went down with each succeeding year. I liked it when they had more psychologists on.

There never was a good presenter on BBBM after Russell Brand left - or was was got rid of. Signs on it - look where he has gotten to now in his career - and the rest are just nobodies.

Not having the same theme tune would just be the worst thing ever, its too iconic.

Knowing C5 it'll sound like some **** weakest link theme tune.

I dont want all that back, one of the main reasons people didnt watch BB as much as they use to was because it was on so much on C4/E4 have the daily show yeah and BBLB every second day (Unless something major happens then have a late night episode after the highlight show)

Emma should present BB because she is loyal fan and is fun. She loves the show.
I Enjoy BBLB , its important for big brother to have a mini day-time show. I think they'd show it at 6pm after the soaps. I think George Lamb should carry on presenting it.
I Agree , i think marcus should return because he is the heart of big brother.
I dont really care , if big brothers big mouth returns because i dont think we really need it! If it did , I think they'd need a comedian to present it.
I dont mind about how big or small the house is but as long as its not as bad as BB10's , Im Happy!
The Music must stay the same.
Also the tasks must be as good as they were in BB11!

Yeah I agree with you Patrick, the essential things are the eye and element 4.

Other than that, they can change everything. The series needs a huge revamp. I think they should just start afresh. New house location, new presenters (even though I love Davina ) all that stuff. They should cut all the spin offs and just focus on the main show and pour money into that. Honestly no-one gives two sh!ts about BBLB (well I didn't anyway) and BBBM just failed when Russell left anyway. If this is gonna work, the changes need to be radical. People were bored with BB before. A reboot of the series might help change public perception of it.

Really excited about the possibilty now, its good to see all the enthusiasm on the forum for it all. Would be so amazing if any of you were to become future housemates, I'm not the type to do it, but I can imagine some of your personalities in the house, even though I don't know you personally !!!!

Or would you like think of it was 'BB1' or something like that?

Always Being Watched
Tasks
Public Voting
Evictions


If any of those features leave the format then it's a bad move, but I'm all open for them to add some new ideas in or tweak it abit, for example: Changing the day of Evictions

I just hope if Channel 5 do bring it on the screens again that possible vote to save rather than evict willbe the norm, also to make it that if a housemate threatens or asks to leave more than once,then on the 2nd time they are just shown the door.

Other than that its format was reasonable sound, the tasks could be more mind constituted but overall,its still a great idea.

I also agree someone like Emma would be good to present it,actually she was better anyway on BB11 than Davina was.
Eviction interviews could be handled better too, the last 2/3 years Davina let many off the hook a lot namely Lisa.

Agree 100 percent (or a million percent as Simon Cowell likes to say....roll eyes) for vote to save, its the best option imo. We need 24/7 live feed as well, I would love that.

Yeah I wonder if C5 would actually do Live Feed for us though? I mean I was perfectly happy with LF being online last year.

We could print screen funny moments and stuff but the thing is if they do it online again I doubt they'll be as friendly to give the 1000 free passes away and I doubt I'd be as lucky to win one again.

So I guess the Red Button would be better, do Five even have a Red Button or would they ever do that?

Tbh I never watched live feed, I generally found it quite boring but if they did the free pass thing again I would try and get one to see the funny moments. I remember that cause people used to be like this last year "OMGZ YOU GUYS. THE SH!TS GOING DOWN. LF NOWWWWWWW!!". And I used to be like, "K well I'll just sit here and watch you react to whatever happened -_-".

I know what you mean too, if it does come back, we know screw all about what the new production team is gonna be like. It'll be interesting to see a fresh bunch of people take over the show though.

We can only hope, and see what transpires, hopefully he has seen the potential of a revamp and will invest a lot in it so it will pay off and make a bundle for him, then he will invest more and so on. Could be the best or worst thing to happen to the show, lets hope for the former. PEJ should be shot imo.

When it comes to the theme, that's one of the few things I'd be fine if they changed. If it does, it should be something party-ish like Australian BB, Idol and Dancing on Ice.
