Please can BB stop the bloody music playing when a housemate gets evicted. I want to hear the pure boos or cheers. Why are BB pussy footing around? Boos will be the least thing a housemate should worry about when leaving the house!!
The music ruined it last year. ![]() |

![]() The crowd should be allowed to chuck rotten fruit at them too. Last edited by GypsyGoth; 08-04-2011 at 11:41 PM. |

I liked it, it made it more of an event. It's not like Boo's are new now like in the earlier series, I prefer more of a 'show' eviction now.

BB7's Evictions were an event. The BB11 Evictions didn't feel special or big, they were bland. You woke up and it was dead on here, no one cared and then it would only hit you half way through the day 'Oh there's an eviction tonight.' Playing some badly cropped Beyonce Song over the crowd's opinions, isn't a good thing.

No music at all please. Seriously it was so annoying, and even no music over tasks!

Phil implemented it in response to complaints on DS that housemates were getting booed regardless of who they were and what they had done, on the way in, and the way out, likeable or not because the crowd had come to consist of local rent-a-mobs - something he himself had grown fed up with. He also implemented the studio-based eviction announcements in BB9 for the same reason.
It was the right decision, the crowd were no longer just expressing their opinion they were just playing up to the cameras and booing everyone (particularly if an attractive female), it had become predictable, annoying and pantomime-esque and other measures (telling them not too boo unless they truely felt it necessary and not playing the VTs to the outdoor audience) hadn't worked. The ones starting it weren't even fans, just local chavs with nothing better to do, when BB evictions were more of an event, booing was a much bigger deal, no one was booed on the way in at all till BB5.
