Anyway, Marcus has a new interview on digital spy, and he sounds really positive about the new series. He is probably made to say it, but he is a genuine fan who cares about the show.

Anyway this bit caught my eye:

It feels like you're a bit more involved in the show these days. Is that right?
"They say, 'Marcus, you will be a lot more involved'. But I've heard that before. Normally the nightly highlights show has had a traditional and static format. This housemate goes to the Diary Room. These housemates are in the garden. But I've been told there will be flashbacks this year. We'll look back at incidents and maybe comment, maybe even cheekily. We'll be able to say, 'well actually, she said to her'. We'll see how that evolves. It will be fundamentally the same and about the housemates though."

Makes me feel a bit more positive about things, I really don't think it will be as chavvy as people think.

Also this is the same bloke that thinks BB11 is the greatest series of all time.

And Patrick, it'll still be the same show, just a bit more modern. If they wer gonna go all out and make it TOWIE, then they wouldn't bother with Marcus, the eye, the theme tune or anything else theyve went to the effort of keepin around. They DO care about the fans.

Otherwise they'd just stick a bunch of zlisters in a London flat and be done with it.

Not too sure about that the HL show should be about what happened as accurately and impartially as possible. Leave the opinions about the event and the HMs to the side shows thats what they are for.

No, not sarcasm lol. I think having a "flashback" will be a nice touch, as long as they don't over-do it. Just with arguments and things.

I quite like the flashback idea, they do it on BB USA and it helps cos my mind isnt to great at remembering things

They won't point out the contradictions of their favourites.

People have have some intelligence and don't need things signposted and repeated lots of times, and they will only point out contradictions when they want a HM out and can get phone votes by doing it.

I like the flashback idea. Especially for incidents like Bunnygate (BB10), at least the viewers' minds can be refreshed so we know exactly who is lying, etc.

Well I still see it just as an excuse for BB to manipulate situations and make us like/dislike who they want.
