Default Now that Jay has been put up for eviction when he wasn't nominated...
Can we stop all the "BB want him to win, they're protecting him, he's the chosen one" crap?

Edit - and I know that he did receive nominations, but not enough to be up for eviction and less than Harry, if they did really want to keep him there they would either make it an Aaron vs Harry head to head or just cancel the eviction like most people would expect

Haven't heard anyone say anything like that about Jay in a week or two. I think everyone knows by now that that isn't the case.

He got less nominations than Harry, really they should have cancelled the eviction, that's what most would be expecting and if they wanted to keep Jay in they would either do that or make it an Aaron vs Harry head to head

Emma said on ok tv that all the noms stand, but Jems BFs votes were discounted because she walked.

Which means Aaron would have the most still...and Jay/Harry/Faye have 2 each.

Yeah I know, but I don't really see any reason for that being done, it's not the norm to have walker's nominations cancelled, but even so it is normally the case that the eviction would be cancelled this week. Like Harry was saying on BOTS it's not fair that they'd be led to believe they were safe for the next week and then to suddenly be told you're up for eviction because Jem decided to walk.

It's just BB trying to get more money out of people imo

They made Jem's nominations null and void which was fair, meaning that Jay was technically nominated.

I have never understood why BB does not make it a contractual rule that if anyone walks they have to nominate 3 other housemates to go up for eviction (this might stop the walkers walking) or even make it a rule that the entire house go up for eviction.

This would serve two good purposes;

1) There would be enormous peer group pressure NOT to walk...

2) If someone did walk it would then allow the public to vote out those who get under the radar and stay in until the end having not made terribly interesting watching.

Sometimes it's quite hard to wait until a HM is nominated to get the chance to cast a vote for them.

In addition to all of the above - the Production team would not come under so much heavy fire for 'having favourites'. I believe this would make it a much more even playing field.

I think they've given up on his chances the moment Jem beat him in the vote.
I think they've added him to the mix this week as a sacrificial lamb to re-dress the balance to to the reaction from the public over their nominations meddling.

I hate Jay, but would prefer Faye to go over him. However, I won't be complaining whichever of those two go, and it WILL be one of them.

I'm going with this..... they realise Jay is a dud. Note: note DUDE, but dud. As in damp squid.

I can't help but feel that this has all come round and bit Big Brother on it's rather ample arse. I for one am happy to see it. I will be even happier once Faye, Jaye and Louise are kicked out.
