I think life is just something that happens around stars. So I'd say there are countless worlds full of living things.

Most definately yes, may not be as "advanced" as us or could be so highly evolved we look like pondlife, but there is too great a probability that life exists somewhere else in the universe in some form.

I'm not really sure. I believe in guided evolution though (that God did the big bang and guided evolution) so I guess its plausible.

I think you may be a touch confused. Adam and Eve is religion. Intelligent design is a force that guides evolution.

I don't think so. Intelligent design is the Adam and Even argument I think. Its something separate. I know what you mean, though.

And it's because I find it too bleak to believe in a world where my existence is essentially based on chance, and that when I die, everything will cease completely. That terrifies me. That and, I think evolution is slightly inadequate as a theory on its own. The idea of things gradually coming into being is a bit too simple for me.

Believing that a higher power guided it all fixes those issues for me. It just makes sense to my mind.

I doubt we ever will have contact/them come to us, just because they're not human, doesn't mean they magically/mysteriously neccessarily have far more advanced technology then us
