Parts of it is now, but it's still watchable.

Pretty much, yep.

It was always a disgracefully manipulative, life ruining, low grade slice of voyeurism. But it had a huge charm and often passed as some weird art in it's best moments [I.E. the way they engineered Aisleyne into a mental breakdown that culminated with Big Jonathan's booting out].

Now it's just ... a crap TV show?

I still think that is probably the best reaction to a twist culmination there has ever been, excluding fight night of course.

It was just so...wonderfully sick. The poor girl was distraught yet it made some amazing TV. That was once the beauty of this show, I don't think the producers are anywhere near capable of creating that sort of thing nowadays.

It really is. I can't even defend it against haters anymore, because any thing they say about it being fake, camp or scripted - I can't even come up with a counter argument for it anymore. Because, well yeah.

It's no more crap than BB12 was at this point so far for me. I didn't get into that straight away either. So I'll tell you in a few weeks.

I'm just a bit sick of the same types of people going in..... model after model after model. Only 1 person over 40 (and she might be the first out)

I think some of this year's might surprise us from the leaks earlier. They did seem a bit samey on the show but they have more background than the last few series housemates, despite seeming more normal looking (something we've been calling for for years then moan when we get it).

It's way too early on for us to be making statements like the OP's. It's not as good as the show that I grew up with, but it still has enough moments for it to be worth giving the series more of a go than one episode .

I understand what you're saying, but I wouldn't call these people 'normal' at all. They're just chavs and models, and a posh guy. There's been far too many chavs in BB and it's making our country look like chav city. Series 1 and 2 had BY FAR the most normal HMs.

I wouldn't, that's my point, there were people moaning on here about the lack of BB5-BB7 freaks and I was saying compared to them, on first look, they looked like they were slightly more BB12 looking than BB6 or BB7 (Series 1 and 2 comparisons are pointless, it's a completely different show now as I've said before) but probably, judging by their backgrounds weren't.
