Since when was this guy a celebrity? Never mind being labelled "famous"!

He was on Pop Idol 9 years ago but as you know, Pop Idol was a competition for non celebrities, so what gives?

I'm a bit confused.

He was in a band etc... 3SL I think they were called. Had two minor top 40 hits.

Also does it annoy anyone else when they call him Lisa Scott lees brother? What about the brother that was on the channel 4 tv show "the hotel" surely he is as famous as Lisa and yet he never gets a mention. Poor bugger

He is known for being in a band, on pop idol and appearing on numerous reality tv shows.

How many more Andy Scott Lee bashing threads do we need? Give the guy a break its not as if hes proclaiming to be famous its just people like you laughing at him and presuming he thinks hes a celeb.

They've really ran away with the term "celebrity" these days. Once upon a time it meant a celebrated person. But apparently just appearing on TV makes you celebrated.

Anyone can be a celeb nowadays. Pretty soon Daniel-lewis-1985 will be rumoured to be entering celeb bb and he wil launch his own clothing range with the slogan "you are such a tampon" running all over every item of clothing he sells.

It could happen.
